“ලන්ඩන් බ්‍රිජ්” නම් පාලම මත ඊයේ (29) සවස 2ට පමණ සිදුවූ පිහි ඇනුම්වලින් දෙදෙනෙකු මියගොස් තිබෙනවා. තවත් තිදෙනෙකු රෝහල්ගතව ප්‍රතිකාර ලබමින් සිටින බව විදෙස් මාධ්‍ය වාර්තා කර තිබෙනවා.
ප්‍රහාරකයා 2012 වසරේදීද ත්‍රස්ථ කටයුතු සම්බන්ධයෙන් බන්ධනාගාර ගත වූ උස්මාන් කාන් නැමැති 28 හැවිරිදි පුද්ගලයෙකු බව ලන්ඩන් නාගරික පොලිසිය පවසා තිබෙනවා.
බන්ධනාගාර ගතවූවන් පුනුරුත්තාපනය කිරීම පිළිබඳ කේම්බ්‍රිජ් විශ්ව විද්‍යාලය විසින් පැවැත්වූ සම්මන්ත්‍රණයකට මෙලෙස බන්ධනාගාර ගතවූවන් පිරිසක් හා සිසුන් පිරිසක් සහභාගී වී තිබෙනවා. ප්‍රහාරකයාද ඊට සම්බන්ධ වූවෙකු බව මේ විට අනාවරණය වී තිබෙනවා.
සැකකරු ව්‍යාජ බෝම්බයක් අටවාගෙන සිටි බැවින් සිදුවීම පාලනය කිරීම සංකීර්ණ වී තිබෙන බවත් සඳහන්. කෙසේ නමුත් සිදුවීම අතරතුර පොලීසිය විසින් උස්මාන් කාන් වෙඩි තබා ඝාතනය කර ඇති බවද ලන්ඩන් නාගරික පොලීසිය තහවුරු කර තිබෙනවා.
